A man is recovering after police say someone hit him with a baseball bat then set him on fire.
The victim's sister said her brother did not deserve what happened to him.
Police said the victim had burns all over his body after he woke up to realize he was on fire.
The man told police he got into a fight with another man who then hit him with a baseball bat.
Police said it appears the attacker then set him on fire before leaving the house.
Officers said the victim was alert and talking when he was sent to the hospital.
TFD said another man was inside at the time but he told firefighters he did not need to be treated.
Priscilla Brown said the victim is her brother and said she doesn't understand why someone would do this to him.
"He's a friendly person, always willing to help people so just hearing about that ... it's very traumatizing right now. I'm trying to hold my composure," said Brown.
TFD said the fire only caused minor damage inside the home.
