Tulsa Police Arrest Homeless Man Accused Of Rape

A homeless man is in jail after police say he tried to rape a woman.

Police arrested Yusus Guled on Wednesday near 11th and Denver.

They say a witness intervened and hit Guled on the head to make him stop.

Officers say they believe Guled was under the influence of something when they arrested him for rape by instrumentation and indecent exposure.
