An apparent tornado damages several businesses in Fairfax Sunday evening.

Osage County was under a Tornado Warning when the storm hit the community at about 8:20 p.m. The storm knocked out power to parts of the community including the hospital and nursing home.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol briefly closed Highway 18 in Fairfax because of downed power lines and debris on the road.

The OHP says highway was reopened just before 2:30 a.m. adding power has been restored to the city's hospital and nursing home.
Emergency workers were still working to determine the extent of the damage, saying several businesses and homes were affected by the storm.
