October is national substance abuse prevention month, and the Department of Justice is announcing a huge grant to help fight the opioid crisis.
The opioid crisis is the deadliest drug crisis in American history, and this extra funding will go to help those affected - including crime victims, families and first responders.
The White House says this is a part of President Trump's three-step plan to end opioid abuse. The three steps they are referring to are prevention, treatment and enforcement.
