A police pursuit turned into a crash sending two people to a Tulsa hospital Wednesday.
Creek Nation Lighthorse Tribal Police said it all started when their investigators tried pulling over a "person of interest".
They said the pursuit reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour before coming to a halt at 51st and 129 East Avenue.
Tribal Police said it all started near an apartment complex near 71st and South 92nd East Avenue when they tried to pull over a person of interest related to a different incident that police had been looking into.
That’s when the pursuit started which took tribal police down 71st and 169 and then finally east down 51st where the suspects SUV hit a car and rolled over.
The suspect who was in that SUV and another person who was in the car were both taken to the hospital.
Creek Nation Lighthorse Police said by the time Tulsa Police got involved the crash had already happened.
"Once we started processing the scene was a large amount of narcotics, numerous loaded weapons, handguns, some rifles, and what appears to be some counterfeit materials," said Creek Nation Lighthorse Police Chief Robert Hawkins.
