U.S. Marshals picked up a man near New York City who is wanted for robbing an Owasso Reasor’s and escaping from police twice.
Earlier this month, Owasso police say, William Tedlock told a Reasor’s clerk that he had a bomb, he took money, and he ran off.
Officers tracked him down, but let him go initially because his clothing didn’t match that of the suspect’s description.
When officers realized he was the guy they were after, and who had quickly changed clothes after the robbery, they caught him again.
They say that, while in custody, he overdosed on prescription pills and was rushed to the hospital, where he used hand sanitizer to slip out of his handcuffs and escape.
Authorities say he was tracked from Oklahoma to New York, where he was arrested.
