Police look for a car's driver who struck a man walking on a Bartlesville street Tuesday evening
Officers got the call at 8:15 p.m. to a Highway 75 access road just north of Frank Phillips Boulevard.
Police Captain Jay Hastings say a man and woman were walking southbound towards a Walgreens store, when the man was struck from behind by a light colored car. He says the car's driver continued south without stopping, heading towards a nearby shopping center.
The victim was taken to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.
Police are checking to see if any surveillance cameras in the area captured a photo of the car. If anyone knows anything they are asked to call police at 918-338-4001.
Captain Hastings says there should be damage on the right front end of the car.
