Tulsa police say one man is missing after going fishing on the Arkansas River late Friday night.
Officials say two men were in the river near 41st Street around midnight when the water started to rise.
They say the pair headed for shore, but one man lost sight of the other.
Tulsa police, firefighters, and paramedics searched for the man, but were unable to locate him.
“We’re bringing a drone in with some infrared cameras on it, which will allow us to get a little closer to the bank and, hopefully, we can pick him up there and find out if he got up on the bank or what happened to him,” said Stan May with the Tulsa Fire Department.
Firefighters say they will have better luck in the daylight. They say the man's tackle box was found with his ID inside.
They say some of the water is being diverted so the water level will go down in the search area.
With help from the air in Skynews 6, a body was found along the Arkansas River in the area where searchers have been looking for a man missing since Friday night.
Authorities are working to determine whether the body is that of the missing man.
