Tulsa Elementary Given All Clear After Smoke Spotted

Mitchell Elementary in Tulsa was evacuated Thursday morning after someone spotted smoke. Mitchell Elementary is 733 North 73rd East Avenue. That's just north of Highway 412 near the Admiral Twin Drive-In.

Tulsa Fire Department came to the school and gave the all clear.

All students are safe and returned to class, a spokesperson for Tulsa Public Schools states.

Tulsa firefighters said there was just a bit of haze when they got there caused when a light ballast went out. An electrician was called to check out the problem.
