A long standoff in Disney, which began Tuesday evening and ended early Wednesday is now over.

Sheriff Harlan Moore says the suspect, identified as Gary Miller is in custody and headed to jail.

He says Miller was sent to a local hospital to get treated for a gunshot wound to the hand, then he will be booked into the Delaware County jail.

Moore says Gary Miller and his fiance had been fighting Tuesday evening when the sheriff says she shot at him.  Miller left before deputies got there just after 8 p.m., but came back and pointed a gun at them, so Moore says deputies fired toward him.

He led deputies on a short chase where the sheriff says Miller crashed head-on into a deputy's patrol car and that deputy shot at Gary Miller.

Miller then ran back into his girlfriend's trailer home in the Sunnywood subdivision in Disney.  The sheriff says Miller's fiance, three kids and a DHS worker were inside, but eventually, everyone was able to leave safely.

Sheriff Harlan Moore says the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's tactical team used a K9 officer to take Miller into custody just after 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Moore says it's a relief that this ended safely.  He says they are not sure if the Miller's gunshot wound was from deputies or his fiance.
