Clear The Tulsa Animal Shelter Saturday, August 18

Tulsa Animal Welfare is ready to clear the shelters! They have many dogs and cats ready to find their forever homes.

On Saturday, August 18, adoption costs are just $10 for all available dogs and cats. The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. at the City of Tulsa Animal Welfare, 3031 North Erie Avenue.

The shelter does everything it can to adopt animals out, but the intake is overwhelming. Animal Welfare has been over capacity all summer with dogs doubled up and living in kennels in offices, according to the city of Tulsa.

You can help cut down on the need for euthanasia by getting your pet spayed or neutered.
