Police: Four Wounded During Tulsa Armed Robbery, Shooting

Police say three men and a woman are wounded during an apparent robbery attempt and shooting at Sunday, July 1st at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Just before 6:50 p.m., officers were called to the Echo Trail apartments in the 6300 block of South 107th East Avenue.

Police arrived to find a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the stomach.  The victim told officers that three people in a white Kia Optima had tried to rob him in the parking lot.  During the attempt, the victim said he was shot twice in the stomach.

As the three people were driving off, the victim, who was also armed, fired his gun at the Kia.

Police said about 6 minutes later, officers were called to the Woodland Park Apartments in the 7300 block of South Garnett where they found three people in a white Kia who had been wounded or shot.

Officers say a woman, identified as Monique Wilson had been wounded in the elbow, a man, identified as Jhermahnte Green had been shot in the rear and a second man, identified only as Toby was shot in the hand and arm.

Police say Jhermahnte Green and Toby were taken to the hospital.  Two of them, Green and Wilson were taken to the police department to be questioned.

Officers say the victim from the Echo Trail Apartments was also taken to a hospital.
