Tulsa Police: Man Stabbed Trying To Break Up Fight

Police are looking for a man following a stabbing outside a Tulsa shopping center late Wednesday.

Officers say the victim told police he had gotten a call at about 10:15 p.m. from a female friend who said she and her friend had been locked out of a vehicle.

The victim had gotten a locksmith and went to the center near 51st and Peoria.

Police say when the man arrived, the boyfriend of one of the women showed up and started a fight with one of the women.  Officers say that is when the victim tried to intervene.  During the ensuing struggle, the victim was stabbed at least two times according to police.

EMSA took the man to the hospital, where he is expected to be OK.

Meanwhile, police say the man's attacker drove off.  Police say the two women also left before police arrived.
