Robert Murphy says with the help of the Rogers County Sheriff's Office, and our News On 6 viewers he was able to get this ATV and trailer back home.
Murphy says within 24 hours after we aired his story last week, deputies received a tip from a viewer. He tells me that tip led to him getting his equipment back.
Murphy says the ATV and trailer are worth $21,000 but says it now has quite a bit of damage. Murphy volunteers for Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief, and this equipment was used to assist others during a natural disaster.
He says thieves stole the ATV & trailer off his driveway Wednesday, but he's grateful to have it back.
"I feel we came together and united for a cause and got it back so quickly and put the bad guys where they belong and they're off the streets and not stealing from anybody else," said Murphy.
Now that he has his equipment back, he tells me he's making several security updates to his home.
