Claremore Mother, Stepfather Arrested On Child Abuse Complaints

Claremore Police arrested a mother and stepfather on child abuse complaints.

According to police, a 9-year-old boy told his teacher that his stepfather spanked him with a wooden paddle, kicked him in the chest and punched him in the stomach.

Police arrested John Forrester, the child’s stepfather, for child abuse; they also arrested the child’s mother, Brittney Barneck, for enabling child abuse.
