An internationally acclaimed artist is in Tulsa teaching students from the Oklahoma School for the Blind.
John Bramblitt is also blind and has made a career out of art and writing. He says other senses, like touch, can be used to paint.
"The people that I paint are the people I know. I'll feel their faces and you make a much deeper connection," said John Bramblitt.
Bramblitt spent time Thursday at Tulsa's Philbrook Museum with visually impaired students teaching them how to paint using touch.
He says each color feels different, so that's how he can tell the difference in red, green and yellow paint.
