Free Tulsa Street Parties Planned Before George Strait Concerts

Whether or not you scored tickets to George Strait's two Tulsa performances, you can attend a free street party outside the BOK Center. Music fans can enjoy performances from 5 to 7:15 p.m. Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2.

Country artist Jerrod Niemann will perform Friday night with Joe Diffie stepping up Saturday. Diffie is a Tulsa native and a member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. He also has Grammy and AMC awards at home.

In addition to music, the Saturday street party will have food trucks, prize wheels, George Strait merchandise and beer, according to the BOK Center. Diffie's performance is set for 5:30 p.m.
