Work Begins On Outdoor Stage At Tulsa's Expo Square

Construction is now underway on a new outdoor stage at Tulsa's Expo Square.

Thursday, county officials held a groundbreaking ceremony for the venue's first ever permanent stage.

They say the project has been in the works for several years now.  The goal is to have the new stage done by the start of the Tulsa State Fair which kicks off in September.

Expo Square plans to use the new stage for  music festivals and different concerts throughout the year.
