The police department has released photos of Wednesday's 17-hour standoff at an east Tulsa motel.
Rush Hembree, 48, is in the Tulsa County jail waiting to be sent back to Nebraska, where he was considered a fugitive from justice.
Tulsa Police posted pictures on its Facebook page of officers staging at their mobile command post.
Officers took Hembree into custody after the standoff at the Rest Inn and Suites near Admiral Place and Memorial Drive. Police say he took his pregnant girlfriend hostage before eventually letting her go.
Tulsa County jail records show Hembree was booked on complaints of kidnapping, resisting arrest and stolen property. As well as a felony firearm possession and shooting an officer with intent to kill.
The felony warrant out of Nebraska is for making fully automatic weapons.
