Police say the shooting incident happened on the night of January 19, 2018, near 51st and Yale.
An affidavit filed in the case says a woman and four passengers were following a white Toyota SUV that night, because the woman believed someone in the white Toyota had threatened her son with a gun the day before. They say someone in the Toyota called Zannotti who they say showed up at the scene and started shooting at the SUV, hitting it at least once.
