The Rogers County Sheriff's Office is investigating what they believe is a murder-suicide on the east side of Claremore.
The Sheriff's Office said right now, everything points to a murder-suicide and the two dead are believed to be husband and wife.
Deputies were called to the house just after 1 p.m. Friday afternoon by someone who told the dispatcher that there were two people dead inside.
When Deputies got there, they found a man and women dead inside the house.
Sheriff Scott Walton said right now, investigators believe that caller was the man.
Walton said a gun was used during the murder-suicide.
He also said that during the incident there was a young family member somewhere in the house.
The Sheriff said there is still a lot of work for investigators to do as they wait for the medical examiner’s office to arrive.
"To collect evidence for things that are there and certainly as the lay of the land is here we've got family that lives very very close by, tough time for them and we may learn a little bit more later," said Walton.
The Sheriff's Office is not releasing the names out of respect for the family but did say the two people looked close to retirement age.
