Broken Arrow Man Accused Of Molesting Minor Female

A Broken Arrow man was arrested Thursday, March 15, 2018, after police say a minor female reported he had been molesting her since 2016, when she was 15 years old.

The girl told police Motaz Yahya Barzak caught her texting some inappropriate photos to a boy and began touching her at that time, saying it was better than her being "pregnant on the streets."

An arrest report states Barzak touched her and forced her to touch his privates on several occasions since that time. The behaviors escalated, and the girl was able to recount at least four specific instances of molestation, according to the arresting officer.

Police say Barzak, who is serving a deferred sentence for a child abuse case in 2012, was booked on four felony counts of sexual abuse of a minor. The 57-year-old man is in the Tulsa County Jail.
