Quiet start Saturday with temperatures in the 30’s, 40’s and 50s. Some areas dealing with a little patchy fog but not much longer.
Temperatures around lunch time in the mid 60s with light winds. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day as our storm system gets closer. By 2 to 4 p.m., rain and storms will start to develop mainly south of I-44 and east of Highway 75.
These storms could intensify into severe storms capable of large hail and damaging winds. The window would be from 4 p.m. to midnight for severe storms. The real cold front moves through tonight with a second opportunity of some light showers and maybe a rumble of thunder.
If we have lingering showers in the morning, they will be southeast of Tulsa. Cool and windy tomorrow. Morning lows in the upper 30s and low 40s. Wind chills will make it feel about 10 degrees cooler. Highs in the low to mid 50s with partly cloudy skies. High pressure will be in place for Monday and Tuesday which means quiet weather.
Cold mornings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the 50s both Monday and Tuesday then warming into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine each day.
Fire danger will be high on Sunday and again on Thursday. Winds will be strong with dry air so we’ll need to be careful. Our next storm system on Friday into Saturday could bring rain and storms to our area.
We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to next week and get more weather data because a lot of folks want to go out about to celebrate St. Patrick’s day on Saturday
