A 77-year-old historical highway bridge near Sperry is being preserved.
The Oklahoma Department of Highways shared a video of the 160-foot Hominy Creek bridge being moved more than three miles from its original location on Highway 11.
The bridge was scheduled for demolition, but nearby resident Scott Underwood adopted it.
He says he plans to open it up to the public on his private property.
