Tire In The Road Blamed For Tulsa Highway Crash

Police say a tire on the Sand Springs Expressway led to a pickup crash Wednesday evening.

They say five people were in the truck when the driver had to swerve to miss the tire rolling down the Tulsa highway.

That sent the pickup into barrels protecting the Gilcrease Museum Road bridge and then into the center median cable barriers.

No one in the pickup was seriously hurt or taken to the hospital.
