Tulsans who commute to work on their bicycles will now have a place to store them during work hours.

Bicycle parking by Phat Tire is now open in the tunnels under the Fourth Street parking garage and Kennedy Building. Bumgarner Asset Management partnered with Phat Tire Bike Shop to offer the parking area in the pedestrian tunnel.

Bike trays, lockers and changing rooms are available in the parking area. There will soon be a bike repair station and a water bottle filling station.

After all, commuting by bicycle is growing in popularity in downtown Tulsa.

"How can we promote health and wellness with our tenants and our employees and also provide a safe and secure place to store our bikes during work hours," said Project Manager Kate Critschfield. "So, I thought, wait a minute - we have that space down there off the parking garage. It's perfect."

Also, the site is secure with keycard access and video surveillance.  There is also 24-hour security in the buildings.  The parking rental rates range from $10 to $25 a month

Monthly rental fees apply. For more information, call 918-743-4285, or visit Bumgarner Asset Management for more information.
