Tulsa Police are looking for one, possibly two shooters in an early morning shooting at the McDonald’s near Highway 412 and Gilcrease Museum Road.
Officers said they’re having trouble finding those responsible.
They said the 19-year-old victim was shot in the torso in the back of the McDonald’s parking lot around 3:00 Monday morning.
Police first said the shooter was driving a silver car heading north on Gilcrease Museum Road. Officers later said they were hearing multiple stories, and now they're not sure if it was actually a drive-by shooting.
They looked at surveillance video showing the victim and another man running after police said both men heard gunshots.
Officers said they need the victim and other witnesses to tell them the whole story.
"We're not saying the victim is fibbing or lying to us but there's more to the story than what we're obviously getting," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Shane Tuell.
Officers said the victim was treated and released from the hospital.
