Sapulpa Woman Dies Following Motorcycle Crash

A Sapulpa woman died of injuries she received in a motorcycle crash September 15, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Rebecca Harris, 44, died September 19 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.

Harris was a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ronny Elliot of Sapulpa. The motorcycle collided with a Chevy Cruze on Highway 51 at 137th West Avenue.

Elliott, 56, was also injured in the crash. He is listed in fair condition as of September 25, OHP states. The driver of the Chevy Cruze, Roger Wall of Tulsa, and two juvenile passengers weren't injured, a report states.

OHP has not released any details on the crash but said neither person on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet.
