Community members looking to make a stand against hate gather at a Tulsa park.
Sunday’s March Against White Supremacy started at Maple Park near 15th and Peoria and went down Cherry Street.
The event was in response to some racist fliers that had been posted on Cherry Street earlier this week.
"When I see a little child with an anti-KKK sign like literally putting it [in] front of [a] stranger's face, that's a good sign that we're in the right direction,” said Brandon Smits.
The event invitation asked people to wear their culture traditional dress without fear of shame, exclusion, or discrimination.
