The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a driver wasn't paying attention when she rear-ended a school bus Thursday morning three miles east of Muskogee.
The 22-year-old woman was treated and released at a Tahlequah hospital for a head injury but the bus driver and 15 children on the bus weren't injured, troopers said.
The driver of the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, Haley Taylor, of Muskogee, was driving west on a county road when she struck the stopped school bus in the rear, according to the OHP collision report. The bus was stopped to pick up children at a bus stop when it was hit, troopers said.
Taylor was not wearing a seatbelt, the report states.
