Okmulgee Police are investigating after a girl came to the emergency room Sunday, September 3, 2017, with a bullet wound. The victim, a 14-year-old girl, had been shot in the face, Chief Joe Prentice said.
The wounded girl told officers a man she knows only as “Mizellaneouz” came to her house and assaulted her. Medical staff discovered she had been shot, a news release states. The girl was shot once in the face and is expected to survive, Prentice said.
Anyone with information about the shooting or where police can find “Mizellaneouz” is asked to call Okmulgee Police at 918-756-3511.
