Silver Alert Canceled After BA Woman Found Safe

A missing Broken Arrow woman who was the subject of a Silver Alert on Monday, Aug. 28, has been safely located in Columbia, Illinois, the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office said. 

Kay Palumbo, 79, was located in good health and she is safe, WCSO said. She was stopped by police on her way to Pennsylvania and her family was notified.

In Monday's Silver Alert, the sheriff's office said Palumbo was in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death, and that she was last seen in the BA area. 

The WCSO said Monday that Palumbo was believed to be en route to Illinois and then to Pennsylvania.
