Tulsa Man Arrested, Charged With Rape By Instrumentation

A Tulsa man who was arrested Monday is facing rape charges.

Karl Steven Marshall, 32, is charged with rape by instrumentation and attempted first-degree rape, according to Tulsa County District Court records.

On Aug. 14, a woman told police that Marshall committed acts against her in which she did not give permission, according to his arrest and booking report.

The crime occurred near South Denver Avenue.

Marshall is being held in the Tulsa Jail in lieu of about $50,000 bond, jail records show.

He is due in court Aug. 21.
