Police are looking for a woman who they said claimed she had a bomb when she robbed a Tulsa bank Thursday.
Tulsa police got a call at about 11 a.m. on August 18 about a bank robbery at Bank of America at MLK Blvd. and Pine.
Police quickly arrived to the scene and they called in the bomb squad.
TPD released a surveillance photo of the woman they're looking for.
They said she's between 5'10 and 6' tall, has chest-length dreadlocks, a tattoo on her chest, a tattoo of an 'H' on her right forearm and a tattoo with the letters 'S-H-O' on her left arm.
Police said she walked out of the building but likely got away in a car waiting somewhere.
As for the bomb, police said on their preliminary search, they found a bag with multiple wire and a cell phone, so the threat of a bomb seemed credible.
" Anytime you hear the word bomb you're on high alert. I mean doesn't matter if there seems to be a lot of them right now or not. At the moment you have to treat it like it's real," said TPD Sgt. Brandon Watkins.
The bomb squad checked it out it and determined that the bomb was fake.
If you know who the suspect is, you're asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
