A Tulsa store is cleaning up a big mess after a driver lost control and crashed through a wall.

AT&T store manager Sarah Beam was in the middle of her work day when a truck came barreling through.

"I thought at first it was an earthquake just because the walls were shaking,” she said.

The truck crashed through the side of the three-week-old store at Riverside and 95th, stopping just feet from the spot Beam was helping a customer.

"I honestly, didn't know what in the world it was until I saw the headlights and the truck," Beam said.

When Beam went up to the window, she said there was a woman behind the wheel.

"The fire department helped her out of the truck, so nothing else came down on top of her - and we are really, really thankful for that," Beam said.

Shaken, the driver said her car lurched forward in the parking lot while she was trying to park.

No one was injured.

"We had displays on that wall, so at any time we could've been showing a customer a phone," Beam said.

Employees are dealing with the aftermath.

"There's quite a lot of damage on the structure, so we advised the manager of the store to…get a structural engineer here to assess the situation before they pull out the vehicle," Firefighter Andrew Duong said.

Beam said, “We worked really hard to get it up and running. Tried to get everything where it needs to be, so, for this to happen, it's kind of, it's a little bit of a shock, and it stinks a little bit, but we will get it back up and running in no time."

Employees have a long road of repairs ahead of them; they went ahead and closed the doors for the day and are not sure when they will be able to return back to work.
