One of Oklahoma’s own was escorted home Wednesday night.
Soldier Michael Allen Jack, 36, died suddenly at his home on Kentucky’s Fort Campbell last week.
His body arrived back in Oklahoma Wednesday.
A law enforcement motorcade escorted him to a Collinsville funeral home.
Jack will be laid to rest at Fort Gibson National Cemetery Friday at 3 p.m.
Jack joined the Army after September 11th and was shipped to basic in February 2002.
The soldier earned many awards in his 15-year career, including a Bronze Star.
Jack is survived by his wife, Cynthia, and their four children – Mackenna, Cora, Mirren and Conlan – his mother, Janet, three sisters – Jennifer, Juliane and Deborah – and two brothers Robin and Philip.
