Former Vian Officer Who Resigned After Controversial Arrest Hired By Webbers Falls

The Vian police officer who resigned following a controversial arrest has a new job.

Thursday, Lindsey Green told News On 6 she's been hired by the Webbers Falls Police Department.

Green resigned from the Vian force after she says both the city mayor and city attorney told her to drop the arrest of a city councilor's son.

The Vian police chief resigned as well in support of Green.
