Police arrested two men charged in the shooting death of a Tulsa man on December 31, 2016.
Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker says Corey Phorn, 23, was arrested in Bastrop, Texas on April 19th and Jeremy Harper, 34, was arrested in Joshua Tree, California on April 20th.
Walker says Perry Wallace was found dead behind Victory Christian Center on New Years Day. He says investigators determined Wallace had been killed the previous day.
Walker says police focused their investigation on what Wallace was doing the day he was killed. He says they were able to connect Corey Phorn and Jeremy Harper to Wallace's death and this week, prosecutors approved a first-degree murder warrant for Phorn and an accessory to murder warrant for Harper.
Sergeant Walker says they have not ruled out additional arrests in the case.
Perry Wallace was Tulsa's 82nd murder of 2016.
