Every day, we're hearing stories in the news about the plight of refugees around the world. One local church is launching a new global outreach to try and bring awareness to the issue.

Jon Odom is one of the pastors at Asbury United Methodist and he joined 6 in the Morning o tell us about a special mobile exhibit called A World Vision Experience that's rolled into town.

The World Vision Experience Truck will be onsite April 20-32. It's a 20-minute experience of the Syrian refugee crisis that takes you alongside those in greatest need.

The event is free and open to the public. Walk in or sign up for your visit at the Asbury United Methodist Church website.
