Tulsa Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Tulsa Burger King. Police got a call around 1 p.m. at the restaurant near the University of Tulsa.
Employees told police a man with a black and white bandana over his face robbed the restaurant at 11th and Harvard. The suspect jumped over the counter and took money out of the cash register, police said.
He was carrying a small black semi-automatic handgun, according to Corporal Scott Anderson. The man ran off to the southwest.
There were customers at the Burger King when it was robbed, police said.
He was described as a young Black male, about 6 feet and 180-190 pounds wearing a black hoodie with white writing on the front.
The description of the suspect is similar to that of a man who robbed the Walgreens at 51st and Lewis earlier Sunday, Anderson said. That man also took money from the register though he did not show a weapon.
