Rogers County commissioners enacted an emergency burn ban Friday afternoon.
It's effective immediately.
Commissioners held an emergency meeting Friday to address the issue. They were already set to discuss it in their regular meeting scheduled for Monday, March 6, 2017.
Visit the Oklahoma Forestry Division's web site to find out what kind of burning it allowed.
The county burn ban will last two weeks unless the commissioners modify it.
