Filling Period Begins Monday For Empty Oklahoma House Seat

The filing period for those seeking to fill the empty Oklahoma House seat of Tulsa Rep. Dan Kirby begins Monday. 

The embattled representative resigned after a house committee recommended he be expelled after an investigation into sexual harassment claims.

Filing goes through March 1 with a primary election planned for May 9.

The general election for the seat will take place on July 11.
