Explosives Bring Down Highway Bridge Span Over Verdigris River

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has released video of explosive charges used to bring down a Highway 412 bridge span over the Verdigris River Thursday morning.

The demolition of the concrete bridge is part of a $15-million rehabilitation project on 412 between Inola and Catoosa. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol briefly stopped all east and westbound traffic prior to the demolition.
