Firefighters are responding to a structure fire between Collinsville and Oologah. A home burned in the 14000 block of South Crestview Road just north of Highway 169.

The call went out around 1 p.m. Sunday, December 18.

A small travel trailer next to the home caught fire and and it spread to the home. Northwest Rogers County Fire Department received mutual aid from Collinsville City Fire Department, Collinsville Rural Fire Department and Owens & Co. Fire Department of Vera in Washington County.

They worked to get the fire out in the bitter cold.

Two people were displaced, but no one was injured, according to John Wiley of the Oologah-Talala Emergency Management Services. The Red Cross has been called out to help the family.

Oologah-Talala EMS paramedics worked to give oxygen to a cat that was in the home.

"Not all patients are human," they posted on their Facebook page. "Today OTEMS cared for a 4-legged friend who was affected by a fire. The cat is back with his owner and doing well."
