TPD: One Person Shot During Attempted Robbery

Tulsa police say one person was shot during an attempted armed robbery Friday night.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of South 109th East Avenue. When they arrived they found one person shot in the leg.

Tulsa police said the victim was approached by several men; they are still searching for the suspects.

Police said, so far, they’ve found about 13 shell casings at the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
