13 Kids, 1 Adult Safe After Tulsa House Fire

Thirteen children and one adult are safe after a house fire in a Tulsa neighborhood.

Firefighters responded to a home in the 3300 block of North Atlanta Wednesday afternoon.

They say the home is a daycare and at the time the fire started, 13 children and one adult were inside; all made it out safely.

Firefighters say one room is a total loss and the rest of the house has smoke damage. Fire officials estimate the damage around $60,000.

TFD said the fire started near a hoverboard that was charging.
