Police arrested two teenagers early Friday they say broke into a Tulsa business and stole several cash registers.

The investigation begin at about 12:45 a.m. when an officer spotted a man attempting to smash a register in the 2000 block of East Tecumseh. Police said the man got into a vehicle and officers pulled it over.

Police arrested the driver, Devante Walker, and his passenger, Alexis Goode. Both are 19 years old.

Police found two cash registers in the car. They said receipts in the registers showed they'd been taken from the Affordable Mattress and Furniture store at 19 North Harvard.

When police checked the store they found a front window broken and other evidence the store had been burglarized.

Officers booked Walker and Goode into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possessing stolen property.
