Tulsa's 'Winterfest' Now Open For The Holidays

If you're done shopping, you may want to visit downtown Tulsa for the ninth-annual Winterfest.

'Winterfest at 3rd Street and Denver Avenue opened Friday morning.  

Folks can lace up their ice skates to take a spin on the 9,000 square foot ice skating rink next door to the BOK Center.  It's just steps away from Oklahoma's tallest Christmas tree, which is 44 feet tall.

If skating is not your thing, there's also carriage rides.

People Magazine said "Winterfest" is one of the most unique ways to celebrate the Christmas season in Oklahoma.

Winterfest runs through January 15th and is open Christmas Day.
