A Sapulpa duplex was completed destroyed by fire early Sunday morning, November 20, 2016. Heavy smoke and flames could be seen for miles from the location at 6324 South 41st West Avenue.

The Sapulpa fire chief confirmed there are no injuries.

Four people were inside the duplex when the fire broke out. They got out just in time, according to David Foster. Foster had lived in the home for 45 years.

He said they saw bright orange light up and managed to escape.

"We all got out from different directions, and we're all lucky we did," he said. "I feel sorry for my dogs, my two puppies. I couldn't go in and save them."

There were several cars in the yard and at least one had fire damage.

Authorities said they are investigating whether space heaters caused the fire.
