Tulsa Police Arrest Barricaded Suspect After Standoff

Police arrested Jared Ball after an hour long standoff at a hotel complex near the Broken Arrow Expressway and I-44 Wednesday night.

Corporal Gene Watkins with the Northeast Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force said his officers were looking for Ball on a warrant for "application to revoke" after a domestic violence incident.

Because of Ball's violent past, and past incidents, Watkins said his officers staked out the hotel to catch him.

When officers confronted Ball, police said he barricaded himself in his hotel room.

After use of pepper ball and OC spray, police say Ball eventually surrendered to authorities.
